Manchester United are planning a blockbuster summer move for PSG striker Edinson Cavani. Reports in France suggest United are planning to begin negotiations with the French club for the £62m-rated Uruguayan when the current campaign finishes as a permanent deal for loan striker Radamel Falcao looks unlikely. Arsenal are considering a move for Cavani but Louis van Gaal's Red Devils have the financial firepower to beat the Gunners to a deal. Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Yaya Sanogo will be loaned out this month. Hull and Bordeaux are interested in the Frenchman and Wenger is keen for him to remain in England. Liverpool have been linked with the French star but Arsenal are also thought to be keeping track of his progress. He said: "Between England and Spain, I don’t have a preference." Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas has joined Middlesbrough on loan. The Championship club are expected to keep the Czech Republic international until the end of the season as they push for promotion to the Premier League. Kalas, 21, spent the first-half of the season at German outfit FC Koln but he returned to Stamford Bridge after failing to nail down a first team spot. Jhoao Rodriguez, 18, has returned to Chelsea after his loan spell at Bastia was cut short. Reece Oxford, 16, is set to snub Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United to extend his West Ham contract.
